I have been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember. Living in Tasmania, there is never a short supply of stunning scenery to provide great inspiration for landscape photography. My appreciation for our environment and a desire to capture its natural beauty was one of the things that originally sparked my passion for being behind the camera.

As well as the landscape, I also love to photograph people. The image of a person can say so much more - it can convey emotions and feelings from an exact moment in time. Weddings are a special day and are full of wonderful moments to photograph.

I have teamed up with a number of other local photographers to provide a cost-effective, quality photographic service for weddings and other events. We aim to capture spontaneous moments throughout your day, and to achieve this we try to be as unobtrusive as possible.

Following are some advantages of the service we offer:

  • Two photographers: ensures your special day is captured from all angles.
  • Professional equipment: all photos are taken using Nikon digital SLR's in RAW format.
  • Quality photographs: we take the time to select and optimise the finest photgraphs from your wedding.
  • Copyright: you have the option to receive the files on CD to print as you wish (although we can arrange printing if you prefer)

Feel free to contact me to discuss your individual requirements, or if you are interested in obtaining pricing. Also please have a look in the Wedding Gallery for sample photographs.

My wife and I married in April this year and literally had the most perfect wedding day imaginable. The sun was shining, the birds were twittering and our two brilliant photographers, Kim and Richard, were on hand to capture every moment. Not only did they craft some wonderful group photos (the mandatories), but more importantly they captured many stolen moments from the ceremony and reception that somehow encapsulated the mood of the day. But I guess that’s what the very best photographers are able to do.
